Keep in mind that Hoopla limits the number of borrows you have per month, which should be twenty (20). 

On your laptop: 

1. Go to https://www.hoopladigital.com/
2. Click the button "Get Started Today" 
3. Enter your school email and a password you will remember twice. You do have to create an account and it won't use Google. 
4. You will then be prompted to select your library (Las Vegas Clark County Library District) and enter your library barcode (card) number you have been assigned. 
5. You will arrive at your dashboard where you can browse and borrow titles. 

On your mobile device or tablet: 

1. Search Hoopla Digital from the app store
2. Download and install the app
3. You will be prompted to connect via Bluetooth. You can choose your preference. 
4. Enter your school email and password you created on your laptop already or Sign Up and create your account on the app. 
5. Once logged in you will arrive at your dashboard or it will prompt you to choose your library. 
6. Any items you borrowed on your laptop will appear automatically in the app. 

Sora by Overdrive can be accessed on your laptop or a mobile device.

On your Laptop: 

1. Go https://soraapp.com/library/meadows nv

2. Click Sign in Using The Meadows School

3. Choose your school Google account for authorization.

4. You will see a pop up window that you can close and proceed for access. 

On your Mobile Device or Tablet: 

1. Search Sora by overdrive in your app store
2. Download the app for free
3. Open the app
4. Click Find my School
5. Select "The Meadows School" (if our school does not appear let Ms. Stewart know)
6. If you're phone is not signed into your Google account you might have to go back to click the "Sign into The Meadows School" button. This can be slow to connect depending on your wifi connection. 
7. Enter your school Google email
8. Click Next
9. Enter your username and password per usual
10. You will arrive at your Sora dashboard. 
11. If you borrowed a book on your laptop and you're now on your device, you might need to click the sync button in the top right corner to refresh the connection and see your borrowed book(s). This button is two arrows creating a circle next to the three horizontal lines. 

    You can also access the LVCCLD from your laptop or mobile device. Our recommendation is to add the LVCCLD to SORA so it's all in one place! 

From Sora (Laptop or App):

1. Click the three horizontal lines in the top right corner
2. Click + Add a Library
3. Type in Las Vegas Clark County or Clark County and select "This is My Library" for Las Vegas - Clark County Library District
4. Once added it will appear as a second library listing under The Meadows School and you will arrive at LVCCLD's online catalog to search for a book
5. Keep in mind that regardless of whether you are in Sora or if you go directly to LVCCLD's website/app below you will need your assigned barcode. You cannot use our school's LVCCLD barcode. You MUST use the one you have been assigned as it is unique to you so you can borrow eBooks on your own devices. 

On your laptop: 

1.  Go to https://lasvegas.overdrive.com/ OR use the Libby app for the LVCCLD
2. Click Sign In
3. Choose Las Vegas Clark County from the drop down menu
4. Paste the unique barcode number you have been given and assigned (See Google Doc attached and shared with you but not students already)
5. Click Sign In
6. You should arrive at your dashboard to begin searching for eBooks, audiobooks, etc. 
7. When you borrow a book, you have options to read on a Kindle, download or read in your browser. Regardless, this will sync with your other device as long as you go to your Shelf, then click Actions in the top right corner, and "Synchronize Shelf." 

On your mobile device or tablet: 

1. Search for Libby by overdrive in the app store
2. Download the app to install
3. Click on the app to open
4. It will ask you if you have a library card and you say yes.
5. The prompt will ask if you want it to guess your library (based on location) and you can click yes. 
6. Choose Las Vegas Clark County Library District by clicking "This is My Library"
7. Then choose Las Vegas Clark County
8. Enter the barcode you have been assigned by Ms. Stewart or your teacher 
9. Click Next 
10. You will arrive at the dashboard to search for eBooks, audiobooks, etc. 
11. Anytime you have already checked out an eBook or audiobook it should appear on your shelf. You have to go to your Shelf. click Actions, and then Synchronize Shelf if you don't see the title you borrowed on your laptop. This should sync your devices.
