How To Paraphrase

Micro-Paraphrasing

1. Read the two sentences out loud with comprehension in mind.

2. Find (circle or write down) critical terms in the original sentences (Places, Names, Dates, etc.). Include these in your paraphrase.

3. Decide on a new structure for the paraphrase. Use your own words in one sentence.

4. Write down the citation for the source of the information.
