Semester 2: January 10, - April 26, 2024

Thursday December 8	Semester 2, course welcome pages published for students
Tuesday, January 2- Wednesday, January 10	Synchronous orientation conversations for Semester 2 courses. These are important (ungraded) initial conversations between teachers and students.

Wednesday, January 10: Semester 2 Courses Open (yearlong courses resume)
Friday, January 19	Last day to ADD a Semester 2 GOA Course (and last day to drop with no penalty)
Friday, January 26	Last day to DROP a Semester 2 GOA Course. Drop entails 50% refund of enrollment fee.
Friday, March 1	End of Grading Periods 1 (semester) and 3 (yearlong)
Semester Break	Due to the diversity of GOA schools' calendars, teachers in Semester 2 will be able to choose the week during which their class will be on break. They will make this choice the first week of the semester based on the schedules of the students on their roster and communicate that to students, Site Directors, and GOA.
Monday, April 1 (11:59 UTC)	Enrollment Opens for 2024-2025 GOA courses at 00:00 UTC.
April 18 - 22	Catalyst Exhibition - GOA classes and member school classes are invited to participate. Member school teachers interested in participating can learn more and register here.
Friday, April 26: Semester 2 Ends (end of Grading Periods 2 (semester) and 4 (yearlong))
Friday, May 3	Learning Reports distributed

GOA Course Pre-Registration Form must be completed and returned to your GOA Site Director in the Library before enrollment in a GOA Course.

Register and pay through Camp Mustang.

Summer 1: Monday, June 17, 2024 - Friday, August 2, 2024

7 week intensive course
Covers a semester's worth of material
Utilizes Canvas (GOA recognizes TMS Google SSO)
Summer course grades are included in Semester 1 Transcript Grades and GPA for Fall Honor Roll
You must register and pay through Camp Mustang
Financial Assistance is available and is dependent on the award percentage covered.

Summer Term 2024 Key Dates

Thursday, February 15 (12:00am UTC): Enrollment opens.

Monday, June 10: Course welcome pages published for students and access emails sent.

Monday, June 17: Courses begin.

Friday, June 21 (11:59pm UTC): Last day to ADD/DROP a summer course with no financial penalty.

Tuesday, June 25 (11:59pm UTC): Last day to DROP a summer course with 50% refund of the enrollment fee.

Friday, August 2: Summer courses end.

Friday, August 9: Final learning reports distributed.
